The Beginning: Tecomet Etch is a contract chemical etching manufacturer that was established in 1995 as a result of an acquisition of TRW’s captive etching facility. We are known for our high quality, fast-turnaround, and customer focus. In addition to standard etching capabilities, we  takes pride in our nitinol, titanium and thin foil experience, among other materials.

Tecomet Etch’s strong engineering background enabled it to become the first company to successfully etch nitinol, and it continues to push the boundaries of conventional etching.

The company occupies a single, 20,000 square foot manufacturing space that is located approximately 30 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, in Azusa, California. Plant tours are offered to current and potential customers who are interested in learning about the etching process.

In July, 2011, Kemac was acquired by Tecomet, a contract manufacturer serving the medical device and aerospace defense industries. Tecomet shares Kemac's passion for quality and customer service, while offering additional capabilities in the following:
